Which are the LED bulbs?

Let's stop for a moment with the last type of bulbs used, among others in halogen fittings, so popular in our homes and other types of rooms. Recessed ceiling luminaires look very impressive, and we can buy good LED bulbs from a dozen or so zlotys per piece. Prices depend on many parameters, such as the shape of the bulb, lighting power, brightness and type of light emitted, and the choice depends on our individual preferences when it comes to fixing light bulbs, we do not have much room for maneuver - it must correspond to the size of the luminaire. Some of them contain information about which bulbs can be used in them. It is also important what the maximum power of the bulb used in the luminaire can be. Most often, these values are given for traditional or halogen bulbs that get very hot. As far as LED bulbs are concerned, there is no such property - even high-power LEDs do not heat up like traditional bulbs. The very fact that the thread of a light bulb must correspond to the type of binding does not mean that we do not find a wide range of bulbs with the sought-after thread on the market. For example, E14 bulbs - energy-saving and traditional, occur in many variants, due to the variety of shapes, bulb power, brightness or color of the emitted light. A few years ago this type of bulbs was much less widespread than today. This was done due to the fact that the majority of manufactured fittings were adapted to light bulbs with a large thread, which also did not go out of fashion and are still very popular today. Which LED bulbs to choose for optimal room brightness, the right color of light while enjoying energy savings? Read about it below.

c) brightness and power of the bulb

Another important parameter is the luminous flux - the number of lumens emitted by the LED bulb. The higher the ratio, the light bulb shines brighter. It is assumed that an LED bulb emitting 600 lumens can successfully replace a traditional 60 W bulb.
In turn, the efficiency and saving of light is influenced by the so-called luminous efficacy. To determine this value, the amount of lumens by Wat is divided. The higher the indicator, the more effective the lighting. The value of the luminous flux given on the packaging allows an approximate determination of what power the LED bulb is able to effectively replace the traditional bulb. 40 and 60 W bulbs replace 400 and 600 lumens. Often, the package of the LED bulb contains the power of a traditional bulb with equivalent power.

d) color of the light (what color for what type of rooms).

As for the color of the light emitted by LEDs, there are several types of white. It is conditioned primarily by the color temperature of the bulb. Temperature below 3000 K is the lowest LED value. This color is used less and less frequently. For comparison, it is worth knowing that the candle flame has a color of 2,000 K.
Warm light is in the range of 3,000 - 3,300 K. It is characterized by a relatively even distribution of colors. It is recommended primarily to living rooms, because it has a relaxing effect, evokes a cheerful mood and gives the room a cozy atmosphere.
